Is it water-proof?
It is not water-proof or water-resistant. You can apply a product such as Scotchgard if that is a concern.
Does it have a laptop sleeve?
It does not have any internal sleeves or pockets. You can purchase a laptop sleeve separately. The side of the backpack nearest your back does offer some padding.
Where was it used in Zach Snyder’s Army of The Dead?
The backpack is worn by Lily, the Coyote, the badass blonde zombie-killing punk girl (played by Nora Arnezeder) who is wearing a ‘The Exploited’ band t-shirt.

I was in the military for several years and always was looking for a good bag to lug around. This bag is freakin awesome. It's a strong durable canvas material, the zippers are the thick industrial plastic, the buckle is super strong and really cool looking. My favorite parts about the bag are the fact is already broken in and isn't your average stiff crappy canvas, and the coyote bones are a kick ass touch.
If you've got the extra couple bucks I would recommend this bag over the others.

I will just say that my all around experience was far beyond expectation and far surpasses today's amazonian service. Four days total and I now have an amazing pak that will surely outlast my others. Quite awesomely styled to boot.

Upon receiving the bag I was pleased with the quality and workmanship. The material was heavy duty 10oz. cotton canvass and all stitching was good. Some additional stitching was done at stress points as well. The bag is comfortable to wear for extended times even though all weight is on the shoulder area. My personal use for this bag was to create the ultimate survival kit that looked as though it had survived the holocaust. Since receiving the bag I have double reinforced all stress points and added saddle leather straps to the shoulder straps creating a bag that can handle more weight without the worry of damaging such a nice piece of EDC art. I have also added leather extensions to the bottle holder straps for aesthetics and saddle leather sleeping bag strap holders to the bottom to extend its capacity. Overall the bag is well designed and I thinks will last me a lifetime with normal care.
